Using HOOK DROP
HOOK DROP is a web instrument by Digital Currensy Inc. (DCI): pick a beat, drop a hook, record a take, share it.
Age
You must be 18 or older to create an account, apply, upload, tip or submit a take.
Your takes
You own your vocal performance. When you submit a take to Hook of the Week you grant DCI a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store it (including backups on infrastructure DCI controls), rank it, play it, feature it and share it to promote HOOK DROP. The beat under it stays the producer's.
Beats
Beats are licensed to DCI by their producers. A tip is not a license. Using a beat outside HOOK DROP needs a license from its owner.
HD+ points
HD+ points reward engaging, inviting and sharing. They have no cash value, cannot be sold or transferred, and can be voided for abuse.
Conduct
No fake accounts, vote rings, bots, scraping, reverse engineering the service, or uploading anything you do not own.
Takedowns
Copyright claims go to /dmca.
Termination
You can delete your account by emailing us. We can suspend accounts that break these terms.
